"Worked Easter Monday. Relaxing with a White Cliff ....Made meat balls for dinner. Sue said "Oh No" at first . But Countdown have a recipe that I tried without the onion and added a few secret ingredients. Sue says the chefs on TV always add salt and pepper but was impressed with my attempt. Does anyone have a good recipe for meat balls and canned spaghetti?Ok here's the recipe I used.
500 gms premium mince.
4 cloves garlic
1 pkt of brown gravy
1 cup shredded tasty cheese.
1 egg beaten
a dash of this and that "
This was from of one of Robert's deleted posts.
To answer his question "Does anyone have a good recipe for meat balls and canned spaghetti?" my answer would be to try Bill English.
Anyway, here's my recipe for meatballs and spaghetti.
Lamb mince (lamb mince always makes the best burgers, mince, chilli and bolognese sauce)
Onion or spring onion
Chilli garlic sauce
Some herbs of choice
Shredded carrot (for sweetness instead of sugar)
Fresh or dried pasta of your choice. Never use canned spaghetti.
When all cooked and plated sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil on top.
Accompany with any good red wine
